Kilwaughter Enhances EV Charging Infrastructure with ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ
Kilwaughter boosts sustainability journey with ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ EV chargers, integrating solar power and smart CPMS reporting at its Larne HQ.

Challenge
Kilwaughter Minerals Limited, a market leader in the construction materials sector, sought to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities at its headquarters in Larne. Following its recent acquisition by Saint-Gobain, the company is continuing its sustainability journey, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
With a substantial solar energy installation already in place at their headquarters, Kilwaughter required a charging solution that could seamlessly integrate with existing systems. Key priorities include compatibility with on-site renewable energy infrastructure and the ability to generate accurate, data-driven insights for ESG reporting.
Solution
To meet these needs, ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ installed three 22kW Ratio Io7 dual-socket chargers, allowing up to six electric vehicles to charge simultaneously. The chargers are available for both employees and visitors, contributing to a more accessible and sustainable workplace.
During installation, ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ worked closely with Kilwaughter’s Operations Team to ensure minimal disruption to daily activities. All chargers were integrated with the ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ InSite Charge Point Management System (CPMS), giving the operations team real-time visibility over charger usage, energy consumption and user access. InSite also supports monetisation of charging sessions and scalable management as Kilwaughter's EV fleet continues to grow.
Result
The outcome is a future-ready EV charging infrastructure that not only meets Kilwaughter’s current needs but also complements the aesthetic and functional layout of the site.
Thanks to the InSite CPMS, Kilwaughter can now easily track carbon savings, manage consumption, and generate ESG reports - key components in achieving their sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
